Angle Setting Jig for Lie-Neilsen Honing Guide

A simple jig to allow quick, repeatable setting of your edge tools in your Lie-Neilsen Honing Guide.

This simple accessory makes setting your edge tools up for honing in your Lie-Neilsen guide a quick, simple and repeatable process that you’ll master in seconds. Simply place your edge tool in your honing guide and clamp the tool with just enough “pinch” to enable to tool to still be slid back and forth in the jig. Place the guide up against the edge of the jig and slide the tool until it touches the stop. Tighten the honing guide to securely hold the tool and that’s it! You can now take the tool to your sharpening stones to hone the edge to precisely the angle selected.
